Today marks the 20th anniversary of Nine Inch Nails’ “The Perfect Drug”. The ’90s industrial rock throwback first came into view January 18, 1997 in the victorian-esque music video directed by Mark Romanek. The single was written for the 1997 David Lynch film Lost Highway. The cult film’s iconic soundtrack featured Nine Inch Nails along with other ’90s music gods such as Marilyn Manson, The Smashing Pumpkins, David Bowie (RIP) and more.

It’s hard to believe 20 years have passed since the release and it still sounds incredible. That’s a fact.
